Our home base will be San Cristóbal de las Casas—a 500-year-old colonial town surrounded by Indigenous villages known for flowers, craft, and pottery.\u003cbr\u003e\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cspan style=\"font-size: large;\"\u003eJust outside town, lush nature reserves and high-altitude pine forests offer ideal foraging grounds. With our partners at \u003cstrong\u003eFungaria\u003c\/strong\u003e, we’ll gather dye mushrooms to color our silk and wool—and enjoy any edible finds along the way. Back in town, we’ll have our own studio at a local cultural center to turn our harvest into a rainbow of color.
