Orcas Island Wonder Camp invites you to discover the rainbow of colors that can be sourced from Pacific Northwest forests with Alissa Allen of Mycopigments during a 3-day
Mushroom and Lichen Dye Retreat at Moran State Park on Orcas Island!
The retreat is hosted by the San Juan Islands Makers Guild and highlights the fascinating intersection of art and ecology with enriching activities and a beautiful collection of mushroom and lichen dyed fiber.

We’ll be gathering at the Moran State Park Environmental Retreat Center with endless
woodland and lakeside trails for exploration, heated bunkhouse cabins that sleep 2-7
(bring a friend!), and a central main lodge where we'll gather for hands-on learning
and delicious catered meals!

Dates: Friday - Sunday, October 27-29
Check-in: Friday at 1pm
Check-out: Sunday at 3 pm, with option for a Sunday night stay over
Accommodations: Shared Cabins right on site
Learning Venue: The Forest and the Lodge
Catering: Delectable meals provided by Island Chef Nichole Maher
